Wahey! It's Sunday, which means day off, which means I have time to write a new blog :)

Since its a Sunday, I'm in a bit of a lazy mood, so my hair is wild and I haven't put my contact lenses in (yes I'm a glasses geek) Occasionally, I decide not to wear my contacts and go out in my glasses which result in 2 things. people looking at me strangely, or people saying "should have gone to Specsavers" (original).
I decide not to give a damn and flaunt my glasses as if I were wearing diamonds.

I Wanna Be Adored

Hey guys, sorry for the inactive blogging recently, I really hate the weather at the minute. Before I leave for work I usually take a few minutes to snap my outfit for the day, but so far this week it's been either too dark outside or raining :( I think I need to have an extension on my house and have my own little studio to take photos in. That would be amazing.

I have a well needed and deserved day off today, although I will be spending half the day babysitting my nieces, Its still nice to not have to get up at 5am!

Remember how I told you I went to that vintage fair the  other day? Well here is the unveiling of the absolutely gorgeous dress I brought.

Say hello to desmond

You can probably tell by now that I love a bargain, can you blame me? when you can find dresses such as this beauty for a fiver, what is the point in spending hundreds on one item? I don't think so mate, who said fashion has a huge price tag anyway? certainly not me, that's for sure.

I'm going to leave this one short and sweet, but I'm going to leave you with a song that was the inspiration for my blog title today! Hope you enjoy it!

P.S. I now also have a facebook page, It's basically my blog without having to read all the rubbish I babble on about. So really its just full of photos of my clothes! :)

So if you want to check out my photos or keep up-to-date with my recent posts, then like my page here :)

Come On, Be A No One

I've had a good day today, considering its only 1:25 it can only get better right?

Last minute me and my friend decided to go to a vintage fair. she spotted the ad and immediately though of me and my weird and wonderful vintage life. She only spotted it advertised yesterday, but hey, last minute plans always seem to be best! It was only held at a community centre so I didn't get my hopes up too high.
Despite this it was actually a wonderland of vintage goodies. If only I were rich ay?
I did in fact get a good purchase though, and snapped my self up a dress for £5. Barg central.

I suitably wore a collaboration of my vintage wardrobe to suit the occasion.

Here Is What I Wore!

Shirt - Vintage - The Vintage Fair (Birmingham) - £15

Skirt- Vintage - Cow - £3
Brooch- Stolen from the mother-in-law
Belt-New Look (came with a skirt I brought)
Brogues-Primark -Sale - £8
Ring-New Look Sale- £1

One again a whole outfit for the bargain price of £27. Shoes, Accessories, THE LOT! I should seriously be some sort of budget personal shopper.

I actually really love this outfit of mine, and I have no idea why I don't wear this shirt more often, the lace detail on the collar and neck and cuffs are beautiful! You can't beat Vintage pieces!

 DOGGY UPDATE!:
If you have been reading my blog you are well aware that I have introduced a new doggy to the household. They had a fight earlier on in the week which wasn't very nice, and scared me quite a lot, but we gave them both another chance together and they now appear to be best friends! they play with each other most mornings and they are currently having a nap together in my front room! The week trial is over and I think things are going to be okay :) doggy can stay and doesn't have to be re homed! YAY!

Until next time m'dears!

You Know, I'm Not A Wierdo

I woke up at 5am this morning and the stars were still in the sky. This isn't a great feeling when you have to get up and ready for work yet your body still feels as if it is night time! on top of this, it was freezing cold which made it twice as hard to make the difficult journey out of bed.

All of the above things may have been the reason for the below outfit.

What I Am Wearing Today

Grey Jersey Midi Dress - Topshop
Chunky Strawberry Print Cardigan - Charity Shop
Creepers - New Look
Necklace - New Look

A Jersey dress is a staple piece in any wardrobe, It's perfect for those days when you wake up, and want to put on a fresh pair of pyjamas and go back to bed. They are so comfortable! I paired my comfy dress with a chunky cardigan to ward off the cold, printed with a quirky print to make me smile. Aren't the strawberries just adorable?

You could say I'm a modern granny.

The dark and cold mornings are only a sign of worse times ahead! I can't say I like winter much. Sure its great when you can stay in bed and watch movies and drink tea, but when your up early and its freezing cold and dark, its quite depressing! I also really need to update my wardrobe to co-ordinate with the cold weather sharpish!

Until Next Time

Colour My Life With The Chaos Of Trouble

Im Ill, and I have been ill since Monday. I appear to just have a constant roll of different illnesses that have rolled into one big sickness, I'm feeling a lot better today mind, besides the fact that I have a huge monstrosity of a cold-sore on my lip. sexy.

Today is a big day for me, kind of. To make a long story short, my first ever boyfriend and I were together for quite along time and had a Staffordshire bull terrier puppy together, when we broke up we had arguments over who got to keep the dog and me trying to keep the peace and thinking of the dogs best interest I let the dog stay with my ex (as he spent more time at home that I did so would be able to give him more company)

However, recently he has been in touch as he is moving to derby and going to uni and can't take the dog with him. I have literally had to get on my knees and beg my parents to let him stay with us, and they have given in to letting me have a trial run of how things will go and how he will get on with my older dog Roxy.
I'm going to pick up Hades today and the weeks trial begins! so please everyone, cross all of the body parts possible to cross and pray that he and Roxy will get on! the last thing I want is to send him to a home!

Since I am feeling a little better today i was able to wear something other then my pyjamas or leggings and a band t shirt, hurrah!

Here Is What I Wore Today

Skirt-Topshop Sale-£8
Shirt-H&M-Gift
Shoes-New Look - Years Old

If you haven't watched it, then you MUST! please please watch it. not only does it feature songs by the smiths but also stars Zooey Deschanel, who is a complete babe, and the gorgeous Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who lets just say, I wouldn't say no to.

& It's Just Like She's In Another World

Ah, sorry guys for the lack of blogging recently. It's been mental. I was at the lovely place that is Weymouth the weekend and went straight back in work the following day, and now I'm ill! wahey!

Anyway, Here are a few photos from Weymouth. I didn't take my tripod along for the journey (unfortunately) so I only got one outfit photo for the weekend!

The first day of us being there we went down to the beach. Its only a small beach but you can walk along it to get into the town, so we decided to do just that, bear foot in the sea, it was lovely other than the fact it was a pebble beach so walking in the sea was agonising to our poor feet. it was well worth it though, it's not every day us folks from the Midlands get to walk in the sea!

We had a walk around the town and went for a coffee! (but I had a tea) it was such a lovely day :)

I miss Weymouth, It is probably one of my favourite places. so yeah, any guys thinking about holidaying in England! go to Weymouth! (Definitely do not come to Walsall...)

I don't believe I've shown you this dress yet, Not a clue why because I've had it a while now!

I saw it in the sale at dorothy perkins a while back and fell in love with it, at the time I was a bit skint so didn't buy it and went home in a sulk. When my boyfriend came home from work he had gone back into the shop and brought it for me. Bless him. He is ever so lovely to me! so it's about time I showed it off to you guys :)

Anyway, I best get back to cuddling my blanket on the sofa and feeling sorry for my self! hopefully the blogging will be back on track asap!

Much Love!

Red Hot Revelation

Back home, Back to reality, Back to the good old photos next to my garden gate.

No messing around with me. Got back from holiday on Saturday and went to work Sunday, 7-6 and again Mon-Wed, 7-4's. We are moving around the entire shop so we are re-merchandising everything (which simply means, a lot of work for me) V.M'ing is amazing, but it is so tiring and you cannot imagine the amount of bruises I have on my legs from constantly bashing them. Not that I'm complaining! Dressing mannequins and putting trends together is the best job ever!

MOVING ON. This isn't what I wore today, I literally haven't had a second spare to take any photo's, but this is what I wore before I went on holiday and didn't get round to blogging about!

What I Am Wearing
D.I.Y. Shorts - created by yours truly
Floral Shirt - Charity shop - £3
Suspender Tights - New Look - £4.99
Pretend Converse - New Look - £12.99

If you are new to my blog, (Hey) & you haven't heard of my D.I.Y Shorts then click HERE (it is an old post so is probably all over the place.) But to make a long story short I basically cut up a pair of old jeans and bleached them to create these babies.

I really need to start doing some more D.I.Y's . I have a load of material upstairs waiting for me to attempt to make a few skirts out of, and maybe, Just one day, I might ATTEMPT to make one! :')

Hope You are all Well!

Peace Out!

She's The Last Of The English Roses

Last day of holiday and I decided to go for a proper wonder in the forest, Went all the way through until I came to a fence, which I climbed over and ended up in a massive field. It was lovely!

I'm really going to miss the pretty sights of Cornwall, and not only for the sake of my blog photos, but purely because it just makes you feel much happier when your surrounded by fields and flowers and trees. If anyone reads this from an area like this, just note how lucky you are that you don't live in a graffiti infested town (such as Walsall).

When I am rich, I am moving away to a lovely little place. This place I haven't quite decided on yet. But I am heading off to Weymouth the weekend, so maybe I shall just pretend I'm rich and  check out the house prices down there!

What I Am Wearing
Skirt-Vintage-£3
Shirt - Charity Shop - £2
Belt - New Look - £2.99
Shoes - £9.99
Belt - Free With A Different Skirt

Total Outfit Cost £16-98

Well I don't know about you, but I am really going to miss my photos in the forest and the fields. They have even started work on the garden next door so I cant even have a sneaky photo in their overgrown grass! What's a girl to do aye?

I'm also going to miss having the time to post a blog everyday. It's going to have to be every 2-3 days now! :( I'm not a fan of this!

Anyway I hope you are all well, I have some sleeping to do (at 7:28pm, I think I'm getting old)

Much Love!
