Hey Scenesters!

My cousin from Weymouth has been down for the week which has added extra excitement to the week. On Thursday (my day off) me and Sophie took the liberty to accompany her to her first vintage shopping experience.

Of course we ventured up to Birmingham and visited the beloved COW shop, and also discovered a new chain of vintage shops under one roof called "Mr. Birds Emporium" ... or something. We didn't have a full rummage through here since by the time we had found this, we had spent all our money and gone over budget. Brilliant.

But it is another one for the vintage map! Apparently there are a few other vintage shops near by, I still need to discover these!

I managed to snap up 3 new vintage dresses and also a leather look circle skirt from New Look, I'm sure you shall be meeting these within the next few blogs of mine.

On the journey home the three of us spoke about having more tattoos and what we would get. This conversation resulted in this....

Yeah, we got tattoos, me and my sister Sophie got a peace sign on our wrist. It was actually one of the funniest experiences as my sister has never had a tattoo before and was petrified. This amount of fright caused her to burst out in song throughout the whole tattooing experience. Seriously, The tattooist had no idea what was going on and me and my cousin Georgina were literally on the floor crying.

until next time folks!

Well I Wonder

Ah, Sunday, the day for doing my blog.

The sun came out for a while today, don't let that word bounce you into summer mode and fetch your sun hats, its freezing. Despite this I thought I would act sort of summery, and pop on my old denim shorts. I have had these bad boys for absolutely years, like you know back in the day when you would have a pair of holiday denims and wear them with just a vest top? yeah like those days, I still have a pair! so I thought I should introduce them to some of my newer pieces in my wardrobe.

I say new, I mean a new comer to my wardrobe, but it's vintage, so its kind of old too, but it is rather charming.

What I Wore Today
Denim Shorts-Historical old
Vintage Blouse-Also Historically old, But New- Vintage Cow
Cardigan-Primark
Pretend Converse-New Look
Necklace-Present from Nanny

I'm thinking of doing a little DIY on these shorts, perhaps sewing some vintage looking material on the pockets? I may just do this, but I'm not promising anything since I seem to never have the time to do any of the DIY's I'd like to do!

I'm going to see Reverend and the Makers in concert tonight! To be honest, I don't actually listen to them very much, but maybe tonight is the night to start! I do love a good concert though, the atmosphere is like no other, it will be brilliant even if I am miming to the songs like a kid in a school play.

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday!

I'm Ever So Reckless

I have chopped off my own hair. Yes, That's Right. I've been thinking about changing my hair for a while, I get bored of looking at the same thing for to long and have to change something. One night I was thinking about cutting a fringe in, and with that little though I picked up a pair of scissors and butchered my own hair.

This was the outcome!

Due to recent weather events I have been forced to purchase a few pairs of jeans, beleive it or not I actually didn't own a pair of jeans until about a week ago. It's Too cold to leave the house in my skirts and dresses, which utterly depresses me. I'm not a winter person, unless I can sit indoors with a cuppa and in my jamas looking out into the cold. I am not venturing out in it!

Since I've had a day off today I have decided to make a winter outfit wearing one of my skirts. I really need to purchase some thick wooly tights! I refuse to leave my summery skirts and dresses at the back of the wardrobe to get dusty and forgotten about!

Anyway, I would much appreciate any comments on how you like my haircut!

I shall leave you with a photo I had taken on a 40's Inspired Photo Shoot the other day! :)

There's Definitely No Hope

Ah, I cannot  beleive it's actually been a whole week since my last blog post! (apologies) I have literally been none stop all week! The mornings now are pitch black, I can't actually see in my wardrobe to choose an outfit, let alone take any photos! I managed to get a photo of my outfit last night, I went out for a meal and sort of threw this outfit together in 5 mins, so don't expect anything ultra creative.

As you can see by the photo  its daark at half 6. To Conclude, It is dark before work, and it is dark after work, making it impossible for me to blog. :( Issue needs to be resolved by building an indoor photo studio (wish)

Winter is not my favoured season. I don't like cold, I don't like wet, I don't like trousers. I like sun and I like dresses! I don't know how to dress in the winter, I always want to wear leggings and a massive jumper which just doesn't look exiting enough. I look a bit plain, I don't like that very much...

I do realise that I have been complaing quite alot in this blog, but everyone needs the occasional moan ay?

I shall try and write another blog on sunday! ( MY DAY OFF! YAY! SLEEP!) and I'll try and cheer up for then!

Blog post title inspiration for today is The Vaccines -No Hope. Listen to it if you haven't already, It did make an apperance on the radio so you may of heard it, I'm going to see them in concert next month :) I cannot bloody wait! :) <3

Much love!

I'm sorry its taken me so long to ost another blog! It was my boyfriends birthday today and I have been spending all my spare time shopping for his presents! On top of this I am now working 40 hours a week, so unfortunately I think my blog is going to have to take a back seat for a while, I only have enough time for 1-2 blogs a week, so that will have to do for now! :(

Hope you are all okay!
