I'm a Boy

I think I've been rather girly lately, which personality wise doesn't really suit me. So I've been ditching some of my floral pretty dresses (for now) and exchanging them for something a little more boyish.

I appear to be in a SHORTS phase, which Isn't all that great as I have only 3 pairs of shorts. Although I have discovered a pair of very old, very normal, denim shorts in my wardrobe, and I think a bit of cutting/bleaching/dying/sewing is in order to create a beauty out of them!

HERE IS WHAT I WORE THE OTHER DAY!

I AM WEARING

D.I.Y Shorts-Edited by me!
Leggings-Because it was cold
Peace Top - H&M
Shirt-Charity shop
Coat-Vintage
Bag-Miss Selfridge
Shoes-YEARS old/New look

That same evening I went bowling for my friends birthday, which by the way I am absolute rubbish at, and make no effort to aim or to hit any pins, I just literally walk up to the bowling alley, lob the ball and turn and walk off, which others find quite amusing apparently.

I AM WEARING
Denim Shirt- was a dress, I butchered it
Green Vest- Topshop
Red Chord Shorts-Primark
Shoes-BOWLING SHOES
Necklace-Present from Nanny
I was quite proud that I didn't have to wear the Velcro shoes. being a size 3 is a bit embarrassing when it comes to bowling. you walk up to the, erm, shoe people, and watch there face crinkle up and look at you like you are abnormal, then hand over the size 3 shoes which are obviously for 9 year olds only.

However, they have had new bowling shoes and the size 3's have laces! quite nice shoes to be honest! you don't actually have to hand your shoes in to acquire the bowling shoes, and me and a friend were very tempted to just walk away still wearing them, they are quite cute!!

I've brought some materials! In an attempt to create my own skirts, so, I'm guessing you're just as excited about this as me?
Yeah....

Until next time!

  2. Hahaha, you have exactly the same bowling technique as I do! I force the bowly-men to put the bumpers up too so that failure isn't an option. Great edited shorts, and I look forward to seeing what you make out of the fabric :)
Ps. You totally should have nicked the shoes xx

    1. I think I might have to put the bumpers up next time! or better still get that little tool that the kids use to roll the ball down. awesome.

I'm looking forward to it too! when I finally get round to making something with it!! haha!

Next time, I may just nick the shoes....

      xx
