Four Dresses

I'm taking a break from showing you my holiday outfits (I'll get round to doing that another day) and showing you something a bit more exiting, wahey!

first of all welcome back my ginger hair, which I am actually getting bored of already. actually feel like having rainbow hair or something ridiculously eccentric so maybe I wont get bored of it so easy.

Second of all I went to a vintage fair! days spent at vintage fairs are the happiest days! after waltzing around the room and picking up literally everything in awe and desire I finally settled on buying only 1 brooch and just the 4 dresses. I think I did pretty well, but when friends asked what I had managed the find amongst the 100+ rails at the vintage fair, they replied with "FOUR DRESSES! how many dresses do you already have?" good point, but how on earth was I meant to resist the great temptation that is dresses for under a tenner?

Here is one dress that I snapped up for a mere fiver! It's one of my new favorites added to the Narnia wardrobe, and you can see why!

What I Am Wearing
Dress -Maisies Vintage Closet - £5
Necklace - Stolen from sister
Earings -Topshop
Belt- Primark
Shoes - ASOS
Socks -Asda

I must apologize for the huge bandage on my hand that completely wrecks the entire outfit. If you are wondering what the hell it is, I burnt my hand on candle wax which resulted in a first degree burn. amazing. It's pretty much a normal hand now but I had to walk around with that huge bandage on my hand for more than three weeks!

Until next time friends!

A Dedicated blog to Dr. Martens

Hey there!

Just a quick blog to announce how excited I was when I discovered I had made the June Shortlist for the Dr. Martens Style competition!

I decided to add a photo to the competition as a sort of 'well, why not' when it means you have the opportunity to win a pair of doccers, I may as well have a go at it! (because we all know having 2 pairs of Dr. Martens isn't enough at all!)

I actually did a little squeak and said 'THAT'S ME ON THE DR.MARTENS PAGE!' when I noticed my face scrolling through the album! ARGH!

If I would have trawled the millions of photos I might have added a different one which made me think about what photo I should have maybe added to get more of a chance of winning!

this was one of the first photos I spotted of me wearing my docs and I thought 'I don't look too bad I suppose' so that one just sort of, made do!

this is the photo I used but I'm sort of wondering whether I should have used a different one, such as one of these:

Any-who I'm happy as Larry (whoever he is) because my picture that I put on made it to the shortlist! so it must have been good to be chosen as one of the top 25 out of god only knows how many people who entered! actually feel honored!

Speak to you all soon dearys!

oh and please like the photo HERE! ;)

Thanks Guys!

Broody for Brooches

I went to Weymouth, Okay it was a while ago but I am absolute rubbish at blogging lately, sincere apologies, and I promise along with better weather you will be receiving even better blogs.

Anyway, We decided to take a trip down to Dorchester after discovering on Google that there was a vintage shop there. After finding out, I was there.

It took us a while to find it, even though it was quite central in the town unlike other vintage shops that are usually tucked away in the deepest darkest alleys!

Although the clothing was beautiful! It was a bit over priced for my under £10 budget (I'm a cheap skate). brilliant. But I did discover a cushion which was all over covered in brooches. I cannot even begin to explain how exited I got over a pillow of brooches. You just had to see it with your own eyes, and after closer inspection I notices that the most expensive one on there cost a mere £2. Definitely Tanya price range!

I have only had one brooch in the past which I am in utter love with, and since getting it I have been forever saying I was going to build up a personal collection, and this collection has officially started. I brought 4 absolutely stunning brooches for £5!!!! ARGH! I now have 5 brooches in my mini collection which I can assure you, will carry on growing.

Cameo Brooch-£1
Silver & Peal Brooch-£2
Green Stone Brooch-£1
Gold & Pearl Brooch-£1

If ever you are in Dorchester I suggest you pop by Custard Hall Vintage!

Looking for any reason to wear a new brooch I opted for a plain shirt, just to show my new brooch off to its full potential...

I think this is probably quite a tame outfit for myself. Despite this, a group of quite young girls sat across from me when me and Alex took my nieces out to the Wacky Warehouse and did nothing but stare at me, whisper and giggle. Part of me wanted to give them a tiny slap, another part of me wanted to stick my middle finger up to them, and another part of me felt like I was a child being bullied in school. Instead I sat there, Stared back and smiled like an idiot. Children are quite mean.

Much Love!
